Cancellations made at least 4 days prior to the scheduled tour will incur a penalty equal to 30% of the total cost. For bookings canceled within 3 days or less of the tour date, a 100% penalty charge will apply (the amount paid is NON-REFUNDABLE).
 

Institute of the Innocents
 

This historical palace built by Brunelleschi in 1419, was the first foundling hospital of Europe. Children were left here by parents who could not afford to keep and feed them. Other wealthy families supported children and they took care of them until they found a job.
We will visit together the paintings, the archives, and the small objects  the mothers left them. Through these symbols, the original family could recognize their children if in a future it wanted them back.
